Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical equipment inspections at client sites across North America.
• Provide technical oversight during the repair of heavy industrial machinery.
• Maintain and improve company safety procedures.
• Effectively communicate with clients on inspection findings and maintenance and repair projects.
• Create and develop policies and procedures related to mechanical inspection services.
• Support the Engineering and Field Services team with allocation of manpower, organization of crews, and delegation of job responsibilities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new field services and inspection offerings.
• Create and modify CAD drawings.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of mechanical experience in a related heavy industrial setting.
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Mechanical Technologist Designation from a recognized institution.
• Proven understanding of all aspects of industrial maintenance with a strong mechanical understanding of rotary equipment.
• Demonstrated track record of mechanical inspection/maintenance/repair procedures and systems.
• Shows initiative, ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
• Proven organization and time management skills, detail-oriented, high level of integrity, and professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a demonstrated comfort level with computerized instrumentation and systems.
• Experience working with AutoCAD and/or Solidworks.
• Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time with flexible hours based on job requirements.
• Ability to perform physical work in an industrial manufacturing environment, including outdoors in all types of weather.
