He worked as a maintenance engineer for St. Mary's Cement and then became a Canadian representative for FLSmidth, a global giant in the production of systems for the industrial mineral and cement sectors. In 1986, Mike Kalis went on to establish his own niche company, Demitec Limited. With a focus on more technical projects where attention to detail is imperative, he built a leader based on quality of service and workmanship. Today, our highly technical team pairs field engineers with journeymen to complete complicated repairs and installations.
